About The Role
We are seeking a talented Android Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the data interchange between server and client, developing robust server-side logic, and maintaining central databases to ensure high performance and responsiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and enhance Android applications that meet user needs and business goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Java and Kotlin, with a good understanding of Android SDK, architecture patterns, and modern development tools. Qualifications
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Android development.
- Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools.
- Solid understanding of application architectures such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
- Experience working with local databases like SQLite and Room.
- Familiarity with Google Developer Console APIs.
- Proficiency in Android Jetpack components including Navigation, WorkManager, and LiveData.
- Knowledge of multimedia subsystems such as Audio, Video, Bluetooth BLE, HDMI, USB, and Accessibility features.
- Experience with Firebase and libraries like Koin, Hilt, Dagger2, and Data Binding.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
- Experience with payment gateway integration is a plus.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Understanding of design principles, interface guidelines, and SDLC.
- Good knowledge of OOPS concepts, design patterns, and multi-threading.
- Awareness of the latest Android technologies and trends.
- Ability to optimize applications for performance, scalability, and user experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Implement and manage server-side logic and database interactions to ensure seamless data flow.
- Design and develop application architectures following best practices (MVC, MVP, MVVM).
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, including Google APIs and payment gateways.
- Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and engaging user interfaces.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and participate in testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated with emerging Android trends and incorporate new technologies as appropriate.
- Assist in automating unit tests and debugging issues to improve app stability.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including backend developers, designers, and product managers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
