Job Description

8 to 10 years of experience in Android development
Worked on two or more Android apps
Proficient in debugging, identifying memory leaks, and fixing performance bottlenecks using tools like ADB and Proguard
Strong in object-oriented programming and multi-threading
Proficiency with Kotlin, Android SDK, and the Android ecosystem
Familiarity with Material Design guidelines, common UX patterns, and mobile anti-patterns
Experience with Android libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Glide, Picasso, RxJava, Gson, and Android Architecture Components
Exposure to functional and reactive programming paradigms
Comfortable consuming REST APIs and understanding RESTful design
Familiar with Git and Continuous Integration practices
Knowledge of advanced Android concepts like Custom Views, Jetpack Compose, Accessibility Services, and background processing APIs
Understanding of architectural patterns, especially MVVM, and their testability
Experience playing a Lead or Architect role
Good communication skills
Apps published to the Play Store are a plus
