The company has partnered with Flexiple to bring an Android Developer onto its founding India engineering team, with real ownership over the app's roadmap from day one. Flexiple is a managed marketplace that helps global companies build high-performing teams and GCCs in India.

Role Overview

As Android Developer, you will build core app features end to end and help set the architecture patterns the mobile codebase will run on for years.

Key Responsibilities

App Development

• Build and ship features in Kotlin/Java across the app's core modules
• Own performance — app startup time, memory footprint, and crash-free sessions
• Write unit and UI tests and keep the CI pipeline green

Collaboration & Quality

• Work with design and product to turn specs into polished, accessible screens
• Participate in code review and raise the bar on architecture and code quality
• Debug and resolve issues surfaced by crash reporting and app store reviews

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2 to 6 years building production Android apps in Kotlin or Java
• Solid grasp of Android architecture components, coroutines, and modern UI toolkits (Jetpack Compose or XML-based views)
• Experience shipping to the Play Store and reading crash/ANR reports to root-cause issues
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote-work setup

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile release management
• Familiarity with a state-management or DI framework used at scale (Hilt, Dagger, or similar)
