Android Developer - Contractual

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Native Android Developer to join our team on a 1-year contractual assignment based in Turbhe, Navi Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, maintaining, and optimizing native Android applications using Java and Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using Java and Kotlin.

Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Ensure timely delivery of assigned tasks and project milestones.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Native Android Development.

Proficiency in Java and Kotlin.

Good understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and application lifecycle.

Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integrations.

Knowledge of MVVM/MVP Architecture.

Familiarity with Jetpack Components.

Experience with Git version control.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Firebase.

Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow.

Experience with Room Database.

Familiarity with Hilt/Dagger dependency injection.

Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store.

Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
