Android Camera Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android Camera HAL (HAL3/AIDL).

• Integrate camera sensors, ISP, and V4L2 drivers on Android platforms.

• Support EVS, Camera2, and multi-camera automotive use cases.

• Debug camera issues across Application, Framework, HAL, and Kernel layers.

• Drive CTS/VTS compliance and performance optimization.

• Collaborate with BSP, multimedia, and platform teams for camera bring-up and productization.

Required Skills

• Android Camera development experience.

• Strong C/C++ and Embedded Linux fundamentals.

• Experience with:

o Android Camera HAL3 / AIDL

o Camera2 Framework

o V4L2

o EVS (Embedded Vehicle Services)

o Android BSP development

• Strong debugging skills using ADB, Logcat, and Linux tools.

Preferred

• AAOS experience.

• Automotive camera experience (RVC, SVC, DMS).

• Camera virtualization, Xen, or VirtIO exposure.

• Knowledge of ISP pipelines and multimedia frameworks.
