We are looking for an engineer with strong expertise in Android Audio, including handson experience across Android framework, Audio HAL, and endtoend audio data flow. The candidate must have solid skills in Linux, C/C++, and a deep understanding of overall Android system architecture. Experience debugging audio components, analyzing crashes, and working with HAL/ALSA/TinyALSA is highly desirable.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Android Audio architecture and Audio HAL
Experience with Linux, C/C++ development
Understanding of Android subsystem interactions: Framework HAL Kernel
Debugging skills for issues such as audio server restarts, SSR/STR, buffer configurations, latency, etc. (several interviews and internal reports reference these as core competencies)
Good to Have:
Familiarity with automotive audio stacks (QNX/RTOS/Linuxbased subsystems)
Exposure to audio performance issues, playback/recording failures, DSP/AWE components, or multidevice routing
Experience handling earlyaudio, SSR recovery, STR issues
