We're looking for a Deeply Technical Individual Contributor (IC) Mobile Architect to own the end-to-end Android architecture for high-volume consumer and retail applications serving millions of users.

ROLE DETAILS

• Role: Android Mobile App Architect

• Experience: 12+ Years

• Engagement: Full-time (IC Role)

• Locations: Bangalore | Pune | Noida | Mumbai | Kochi

PRIMARY STACK & ARCHITECTURE

• Core Tech: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines, Flow

• Patterns: MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, Unidirectional Data Flow, Multi-module Gradle & DI

• Journeys: Catalog, Search, Cart, Checkout, Google Pay, Loyalty & Personalization

• Performance: Android Profiler, Perfetto, Macrobenchmark, Baseline Profiles, LeakCanary, ANRs

• Security: OWASP MASVS, Keystore, Certificate Pinning, OAuth/OIDC, FCM & Deep Links

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Own the Architecture: Build modular, resilient mobile structures with clean Compose / XML interoperability.

• Drive Standards: Author ADRs, conduct deep-dive architecture reviews, and resolve technical debt.

• Optimize Performance: Master startup times, frame rates, memory footprints, and network telemetry.

• Solve Complex Issues: Lead root-cause analysis across application code, framework, and third-party SDKs.

WHO YOU ARE

• Battle-tested mobile engineer/architect with 12+ years of hands-on Android experience.

• Deep understanding of Android platform internals (lifecycle, threading, IPC, memory management, rendering).

• Proven track record of architecting, securing, and scaling consumer apps with millions of active users.
