Key Responsibilities
- Mobile app development (frontend):
- Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive, efficient, and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, Firebase, and other backend services into the mobile app.
- Optimize app performance, speed, and responsiveness across different devices and OS versions.
- Manage version control using Git/GitHub and ensure clean, maintainable code.
- Backend development (Java):
- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java frameworks (Spring Boot/Java EE/Node alternatives if applicable).
- Create and maintain secure REST APIs for mobile and web integration.
- Handle database design and management (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
- Implement authentication, data encryption, and security best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade backend systems as required.
- Deploy and manage backend services on AWS/Google Cloud/VPS servers.
- Cross-functional:
- Work closely with the frontend, design, and QA teams to ensure smooth integration between mobile apps and backend.
- Participate in product architecture discussions and technical planning.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
- Conduct code reviews and suggest improvements for performance and maintainability.
- Take full ownership of assigned projects from development to deployment.
