Role Description

We are seeking an Ancillary Medical Coder for a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. The Ancillary Medical Coder will be responsible for analyzing medical records and ensuring accurate coding of diagnoses, medical procedures, and services. The role involves applying coding standards and guidelines, working closely with healthcare providers, and maintaining accuracy in coding practices to support revenue cycle management and compliance. The successful candidate will also ensure adherence to Health Information Management standards and assist in identifying areas for coding improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Coding and familiarity with industry coding standards
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and foundational knowledge of Health Information Management
• Relevant certification or credentials such as RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate coding and documentation
• Ability to work collaboratively and adhere to compliance requirements
• 2+ years of Experience with coding for ancillary services is preferred
