Job Description
The Analytics Specialist – Procurement & IT will support the global Procurement and IT functions by developing Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models for performance management and business decision-making.
The role will focus on transforming data from multiple sources into clear, interactive, and user-friendly dashboards, while applying strong data visualization, storytelling, and UI/UX principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
- Use DAX, Power Query, and Microsoft Fabric to build advanced analytics solutions.
- Extract and transform data from Excel, flat files, databases, and other sources.
- Use SQL and Python for data manipulation, analysis, and transformation.
- Apply data visualization and UI/UX best practices to create intuitive dashboards.
- Develop effective data storytelling to communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Understand Procurement and IT business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with global Procurement, IT, and Analytics teams.
- Identify opportunities for reporting automation, standardization, and process improvement.
- Present complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills
- Advanced Power BI, DAX, Power Query, and Data Modelling.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, SQL, and Python.
- Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills.
- Understanding of UI/UX and data storytelling.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Power BI, data visualization, and data modelling.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
- 2+ years of experience with Python and SQL.
- Experience in Procurement and/or IT analytics is preferred.
