Job Description

The Analytics Solutions Manager will join the Commercial and Investment Banking Global Finance and Business Management organization, assisting with optimizing business performance by helping to promote key initiatives, performing data and management reporting development agenda for operations. The candidate will learn core business processes, build new capabilities, develop metrics and management reporting, and provide decision support via Adhoc reporting and data analytics. The Analytics Solutions Manager on the team will have the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives that help promote profitability and efficiency across the Commercial and Investment Banking organization. The Analytics Solutions Manager will be responsible for leading the Data Strategy team and will also assist the business in identifying, escalating, and mitigating operations risks. Additionally, they will support building strategic initiatives for key stakeholders.

As an Analytics Solutions Manager within the Corporate and Investment Bank Global Finance and Business Management organization, you will assist with optimizing business performance by helping to promote key initiatives and performing data and management reporting development agenda for operations.

Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Manager to lead our Data Strategy team, drive data initiatives, and deliver actionable insights for business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Design and implement new or revised processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Work closely with business leaders, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, secure buy-in, and ensure successful process changes.
  • Lead change initiatives, including communication, training, and support, to drive adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee reengineering and data projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic business objectives.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and analytics initiatives.
  • Identify and implement technology solutions to support process automation and data management. Leverage analytics tools and emerging technologies to drive business insights.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, changes, and best practices to support ongoing improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Promote a culture of continuous evaluation and innovation, encouraging feedback and ongoing process enhancements.
  • Assess risks related to process changes and ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of Data Analysts, managing analytics and reporting functions. Drive team performance and professional development.
  • Align data initiatives with business goals, develop long-term data strategies, and ensure robust data governance, quality, privacy, and security.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, presenting key metrics, insights, and recommendations.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Computers, Finance, or Statistics.
  • Need hands on experience with below skillset:
    • Programming languages, e.g., SQL, Python/R
    • Knowledge of Distributed file systems: AWS Redshift, Snowflake, AWS Data bricks, with modern cloud-based data architectures.
    • Data visualization tool like Qlik, Tableau
  • Experience in Service Now & JIRA project management tools
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with senior management and cross-functional teams.
  • High competency in reviewing and resolving data and presentation issues.
  • Technical expertise in data extraction, transformation, and scalable solution design.
  • Experience in business strategy, KPI definition, and measurement frameworks.
  • Ability to convey complex information clearly and influence stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, effective under pressure, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Proven project management skills and stakeholder relationship building.
  • Skilled in designing data-driven solutions for business problems.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 11+ years in analytics/transformation, preferably in financial services or banking
