How you will contribute

You will:

  • Work in close partnership with the business leadership team to execute the analytics agenda
  • Identify and incubate best-in-class external partners to drive delivery on strategic projects
  • Develop custom models/algorithms to uncover signals/patterns and trends to drivelong-term business performance
  • Execute the business analytics program agenda using a methodical approach that conveysto stakeholders what business analytics will deliver

More about this role

TheAnalytics managerwill improve business results by giving tactical & strategic business solutions via applying his/her analytical skills using analytical data modelling against various supply chain problems. He/She willbe responsible forproviding analytics and certain degree of project management to the various projects and regular network capacity reviews for various BUs. This roleutilizesnetwork modelling, data managementtoolsand visualization to drive sound, fact-based business decisions on the E2E supply network. This includes product sourcing, manufacturing footprint, capacity analysis, distribution networkdesignand cost-to-serve analysis.

  • Engage with stakeholders to understand the business challenge and propose type ofanalyticalsolutions needed to address the challenge at hand and drives the alignment with the stakeholders on the recommendation

  • Translate the business problem into a mathematical model or an analytical framework that enables insights and business to make data driven decisions

  • Identifiesdata requirements, defines best fit datasources,and works with stakeholders on data validation

  • Models the network according to project charter and following existing globalmodellingstandards and tools

  • Models, assesses (costs, service, inventory)andvalidatesscenario outputs usingoptimization,visualizationand data management tools(e.g.Supply ChainGuru,Optilogic,Lyric, Alteryx, Data Guru,Tableau, Power BI) and discusses it with relevant stakeholders

  • Maintains current knowledge of modelling and analysis techniques and works on continuous improvement through networking with internal stakeholders and external professional organizations,vendors,and support forums

  • Builds trust and credibility with different stakeholders to achieve common organizational goals and targets

  • Knowledge of BI tools like Tableau, Excel, Alteryx, R, Python, etc. is a plus

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelor's or master'sdegree, in a quantitative field such asOperation research,Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science

  • Minimum8-10 yearsof experiencein supplychain,strategyand/or operation

Job specific requirements:

  • Overall experience Logistics, Distribution, Production / Operations management, and/ or supply chain management (FMCG preferred)

  • Demonstrated experience in applying analytical to solve business problems

  • Strong experience inanyoptimizationtool( SupplyChain Guru, Optilogic, Lyric etc)

  • Proven experience in reporting and managing projects with cross-functional and global stakeholders

  • Stronghold in Visualization Tools (Tableau/Power BI) - Tableau Preferred

  • Stronghold in Data Management and Processing Tools (Alteryx/R/others)

  • Experience in Statistical analytical tools and projects may beadvantageous.
