Analytics Engineer – Conversational Analytics POC
Role: Analytics Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for a hands-on Analytics Engineer to build and validate a conversational analytics POC using Amazon Quick and existing AWS data.
The role focuses on enabling business users to ask natural-language questions and receive accurate, explainable answers from business data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure Amazon Quick with AWS data using Amazon Athena and S3.
- Build and refine semantic models, measures, relationships, terminology, and business rules.
- Configure topics, spaces, agents, and instructions for business use cases.
- Create and test natural-language business questions.
- Validate AI-generated answers and SQL against source data.
- Troubleshoot incorrect responses and improve semantic configurations.
- Test data access and security scenarios.
- Document POC results, limitations, and recommendations.
- Support technical and business demonstrations.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Analytics Engineering / BI Engineering.
- Excellent SQL and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Analytics, especially Athena and S3.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling and semantic modelling.
- Experience with Conversational Analytics, Generative BI, or Natural Language Querying.
- Ability to work independently in a short, outcome-focused POC.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience with Amazon Quick / QuickSight.
- Experience with Apache Iceberg or Parquet.
- Experience validating AI-generated analytics for accuracy and explainability.
