Position: Senior Power Platform Lead Developer
Location:Pune (preferred), Nagpur
Type of Employment: Full time
Key Result Areas and Activities
1. Workflow Architecture & Design
- Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑grade workflows using Power Automate, aligned to finance and approval‑driven business processes
- Define and enforce workflow standards across approvals, SLA management, exception handling, and auditability
- Ensure workflows are scalable, secure, and compliant with enterprise governance and control requirements
2. Delivery and Execution
- Lead workflow migration activities from Appian to Microsoft Power Platform as part of phased modernization programs
- Collaborate with data, integration, and SAP teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end process execution
- Leverage AI‑assisted discovery and validation tools to accelerate migration planning and regression testing
- Own functional parity assessment, documenting gaps, considerations, and remediation approaches
3. Integration and Connectivity Leadership
- Design and implement integrations using Power Automate, PowerApps, custom connectors, and SAP BAPI or OData services for SAP Integration
- Ensure reliable email, notification, and document handling integrations across business workflows
- Work with security and platform teams to manage identity, access, and API governance requirements
- Ensure robust error handling, retry mechanisms, and monitoring across all integrated workflows
4. Team Leadership & Advisory
- Mentor and guide Power Platform developers on workflow best practices and design patterns
- Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to defined architecture and governance standards
- Act as a technical advisor to business stakeholders during checkpoints, demos, and steering committee meetings
- Contribute to pre‑sales activities, solution articulation, and migration assessments
Work and Technical Experience
Essential Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in PowerApps development using Power platform
- Strong hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Power Automate (Cloud Flows), Dataverse, and Power Platform
- Experience migrating workflows from any LowCode-NoCode BPM platforms to Microsoft Power Platform
- Deep understanding of approval workflows, SLA management, exception handling, and audit logging
- Proven experience integrating Power Automate with SAP using BAPI, OData services, and custom connectors
- Strong Power Fx proficiency and advanced expression handling capabilities
- Excellent communication skills for engaging effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
Desirable Skills
- Power Platform certifications such as PL‑500 and PL‑600
- Experience with Appian SAIL interfaces and process modelling concepts
- Exposure to AI‑assisted migration or testing accelerators
- Experience working on finance or ERP modernization programs
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (master's degree is a plus)
- 6- 9 years of relevant experience; two years may be substituted for a master's degree
