Analytics / Data Visualisation & App Engineer

We are hiring an Analytics / Data Visualisation & App Engineer to convert curated Snowflake datasets into actionable insights, dashboards, and lightweight data applications.

This role bridges the gap between data engineering and business users, focusing on usability, clarity, and adoption. The ideal candidate is strong in SQL, data visualisation, and analytics app development (Streamlit or similar).

Key Responsibilities Analytics&Visualization

Design and maintain semantic data models and KPIs

Build dashboards and reports using BI tools or Streamlit-based apps

Ensure metric consistency and accuracy across analytics assets

Translate business requirements into intuitive analytics solutions

DataApplications &Self-Service

Develop Streamlit-based internal data applications

Enable SQL-based self-service analytics and ad-hoc exploration

Build reusable analytics templates and components

Support programmatic data access using Snowflake SQL APIs

AdvancedAnalytics&AISupport

Prototype analytics use cases using Snowflake Cortex / Analyst

Support AI-assisted querying and natural language analytics

Collaborate with architects on future analytics capabilities

Quality,Performance&Usability

Validate dashboards against trusted datasets

Optimize queries and dashboards for performance

Gather feedback and continuously improve analytics experiences

Required Skills

Strong SQL skills

Experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

Hands-on experience with Stream lit or analytics app frameworks

Solid understanding of KPIs and data modelling

Strong stakeholder communication skills

PreferredSkills

Snowflake semantic modelling experience

Familiarity with Snowflake Cortex / Analyst
