Analytics Data Engineer

We are looking for a hands-on Analytics Data Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. This isn't just a traditional data engineering role—it's a dynamic hybrid position that combines deep technical engineering and sharp business-analytics thinking.

Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Applications Architecture

• Build & Scale: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS) and own end-to-end workflows (ingestion, transformation, orchestration).
• Backend & AI Tooling: Develop the backend infrastructure for analytical applications, dashboards, and cutting-edge AI tools.
• DevOps Ownership: Implement CI/CD pipelines, manage production releases, version control, and optimize system performance/monitoring.
• Enable the Business: Support real-time use cases (APIs, triggers, event pipelines) and build reliable consumption layers to enable self-serve datasets.

Business Problem Solving

• Business Analytics: Partner with business and sales team to translate complex business problems into data solutions, datasets or analytical products
• Drive Impact: Perform exploratory analysis to unlock actionable opportunities and suggest data-driven improvements for campaigns, targeting, and core processes.

Qualifications

·       The Core Tech Stack: Strong, hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, and AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, ECS, CloudWatch).

·       Production-Grade Experience: A proven track record of building and deploying robust data pipelines, managing APIs, and setting up CI/CD workflows (Git). Experience on working on data-applications for mobile & websites is a plus!

·       The Analyst's Mindset: The ability to look past the code, understand the underlying business problem, and derive structured insights.

·       Mindset: A fierce sense of ownership, strong debugging/optimization skills, and a collaborative spirit.
