Job Description:
- Responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure cloud-based analytics solutions on AWS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize infrastructure, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and technologies, and recommend the appropriate solutions to meet business needs
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development and operations teams
- Participate in the architecture review process and provide input on architectural decisions
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and guidelines for cloud-based analytics solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, resilient, and secure analytics solutions on AWS
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure their successful implementation
- Optimize infrastructure performance and ensure high availability and disaster recovery
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and technologies and recommend appropriate solutions
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud-based analytics
Qualifications:
- 12-14 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS
- Strong expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, and Glue
- Proficient in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics technologies
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
- Certification in AWS solutions architecture is preferred
