Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work as a WebLogic Administrator with 4-8 years of production environment experience.
- Install, configure, and manage WebLogic servers (12c, 14c).
- Manage WebLogic domains, clusters, and application deployments.
- Handle Java EE applications, JNDI, JMS, and data source configurations.
- Tune performance and use monitoring tools for WebLogic.
- Set up and manage security (SSL, LDAP, role-based access).
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates -- create, install, renew, and revoke them.
- Troubleshoot WebLogic issues using logs, diagnostic tools, and JMX.
- Write scripts using Shell, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
- Automate tasks using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Work with databases and messaging systems (Oracle, SQL, JMS).
- Integrate WebLogic with other tools (monitoring, logging, security).
Skills Required:
- 4 - 8 years of experience working as a WebLogic Administrator in a production environment.
- Hands-on experience with WebLogic installation, configuration, and administration (including WebLogic 12c, 14c).
- Proficiency in managing WebLogic domains, clusters, and application deployments.
- Strong knowledge of Java EE applications, JNDI, JMS, and data source configurations.
- Experience with WebLogic performance tuning and monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with WebLogic security configurations (SSL, LDAP, role-based access control).
- Strong knowledge of SSL/TLS certificate management, including the generation, installation, renewal, and revocation of certificates.
- Experience with troubleshooting WebLogic Server issues using logs, diagnostic tools, and JMX.
- Strong scripting skills in Shell, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience w ith automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Familiarity with database and messaging systems (Oracle, SQL, JMS, etc.).
- Knowledge of WebLogic integration with other tools (e.g., monitoring, logging, security systems).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document and explain complex concepts clearly.
