Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Job Purpose

  • Build a well-diversified portfolio within the IBG 4 segment. The portfolio should provide revenue from diversified sources such as assets, trade, cash, treasury, fees etc. and the portfolio should lead to healthy income with an acceptable risk to the bank.
  • Relationship Manager is expected to deliver these results in accordance with the lending guidelines prescribed by the bank.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of virtual banking clients, providing personalized financial advisory and investment solutions
  • Proactively engage with clients to understand their financial goals, risk profiles, and investment preferences
  • Analyze client portfolios, identify opportunities, and recommend appropriate investment strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery
  • Monitor client portfolios and provide timely updates on market trends and performance
  • Resolve client inquiries and address concerns in a professional and efficient manner
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of virtual banking initiatives and best practices

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in wealth management, investment advisory, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Proficient in the use of financial analysis tools and portfolio management software
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

Education / Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors in finance / Economics/Commerce or MBA or CA

Core Competencies

  • Excellent Communication & Listening Skills, Good Sales & Negotiation Skills

Technical Competencies

  • Working Capital Finance Knowledge
