Job Summary: Associate Transactions & Processing role involves, identifying non-financial loan triggers and assigning triggers to responsible parties for monitoring and escalating for enforcement. It identifies, monitors risk and mitigates that are listed in the underlying loan documents during various stages of a loan. The company has a fiduciary responsibility to enforce the actions related to trigger events through servicing agreement. Perform a review of documents to extract these requirements for ongoing monitoring of events.

Responsibilities

  • Support servicing commercial real estate, construction loans and problem loans.
  • Identify ways to improve loan processing within established procedures.
  • Perform routine administrative, transactional, operational, and customer support tasks
  • Enter data, process payments and loan coding changes, monitor, research and correct exception reports, audit the system of record, and process cash management transactions.
  • Receive direction from supervisors and escalate non-routine client concerns to experienced individuals.
  • Interact with internal and external customers to respond to the raised concerns as well as determine appropriate course of action.
  • Serve as an intermediary between parties to resolve disputed matters, negotiates, and enact settlements accordingly.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in finance and accounting.
  • 6+ months of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are crucial for engaging with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-volume, and dynamic setting.
  • Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands.
  • Strong work ethic and a sense of urgency.
  • Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.
  • Handling workload and special projects efficiently.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Basic knowledge of excel skills.
