About The Team

The Supply Chain team is responsible to enable product availability across channels in optimized cost as well as time. This team delivers on strategic priorities and provides support through transformation to help Lowe's build best in class Supply Chain capabilities.

Job Summary

The MLM Analyst will be aligned to one Business Area and is responsible for improving inbound flow from suppliers to Lowe's distribution centers and stores based on analytics that impact channel selection, inventory placement decisions, supplier ship-point optimization, freight mode selection, freight ownership that is informed by Merchant and Replenishment business parameters and service expectations

The MLM Analyst is responsible for driving analysis regarding channel selection and freight flow, including trade-offs between inventory, handling, transportation, service levels and other inputs.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Drive collaboration with Inventory Replenishment & Planning and Sourcing Teams to optimize the Inbound Flow of Products by performing cost sensitivity analysis for targeted product areas, supplier programs, and replenishment strategies.
  • Support Seniors in collaborating with Network Flow, Transportation and DC Operations to secure Capacity requirements for new items/assortments
  • Understanding of Supply Chain cost analysis and Inventory Management concepts to make data driven product stocking decisions for various Supply Chain strategies & initiatives
  • Support and execute high priority Supply Chain projects and initiatives within agreed timelines
  • Owns & Supports Projects and Ad hoc Channel & Flow support across Bangalore & Mooresville Partners on Channel & Flow Analysis or to improve Process efficiencies
  • Mentor, coach and train new hire in the team.
  • Support Technology and Product Team to drive improvements in Tools and Systems by actively contributing to UAT activities

Years Of Experience

2-4 years of Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain Optimization
  • 1+ years of experience in Project management

Education Qualification & Certifications

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering / Statistics.
  • MBA or master's degree in supply chain would be a plus.

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Good understanding of Supply Chain concepts
  • Understanding of Inventory Management, Planning, Forecasting & Transportation concepts
  • Project Management Experience - Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Excellent Communication - writing and communication skills
  • Stakeholder Management Experience
  • Good foundation & understanding of Math/Finance
  • Advance knowledge in MS Office
  • Good Data interpretation & Problem Solving

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Intermediate in Power BI
  • Experience in Data mining and visualization tool such as PowerBI, SQL, Microsoft Power Tools (Flow, Automate, Apps)
