Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quant and Technology Specialist with a strong problem-solving mindset to support clients across the Index and Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) domains. The role involves ensuring high-quality implementation of quantitative strategies through scalable, parameterized frameworks, while supporting development, validation, and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop infrastructure to support strategy back testing for structuring and trading desks
- Support clients to design, develop and maintain quantitative investment strategies across asset classes including complex derivatives strategies
- Collaborate with client trading desks to implement and support QIS frameworks and calculation engines
- Build scalable, automated tools to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance accuracy
- Support production, troubleshooting, and BAU operations
- Partner with internal teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Core Competencies
- 2+ years of experience in Quantitative and Technology areas within Global Markets / QIS / Asset Management
- A good understanding of the derivatives investment strategies, process, investment management industry, portfolio theory, and financial markets
- Solid understanding of derivatives, probability, statistics, option pricing, options Greeks and its behavior in financial markets
- Strong ownership mindset with perseverance to drive solutions in challenging, fast-paced environments
- Hands-on expertise in Python (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy etc.) and SQL/databases
- Proven experience in OOP, scalable framework design, and production deployment
- Familiarity with platforms like Bloomberg, Refinitiv (Eikon), FactSet, DataScope
- Ability to develop efficient, scalable solutions for complex problems
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across global teams
- High attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Flexibility and ability to work in a self-directed environment as well as collaborating with others and seeking guidance when needed.
- Good communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders in various geographies
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Quantitative background (statistics, machine learning, quantitative finance, financial mathematics, econometrics, physics, mathematics).
- Master's in quantitative finance or in any other quantitative field. CFA/ CQF preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in Quantitative and Technology
- Strong hands-on experience in Python and SQL
