Description
The Role
We are looking for candidates to join a globally distributed Development team following Agile Software testing and quality assurance Methodology.
- Focus on requirements gathering, test planning, test execution, automated and manual testing and investigative analysis of defects to verify code changes during the development cycles.
- Identify gaps in test coverage and perform other testing as necessary including performance, security, accessibility, and user acceptance.
- Write clear, concise, descriptive bug reports and verify bug fixes.
- Work and communicate effectively in an agile team environment.
- Championing testing, effective test automation using C# on .NET 4.6+ and good testing practices.
- Develop and maintain a suite of complex automated tests supporting code releases, migrating manual tests to automation where appropriate, and exploring other opportunities to increase automated testing.
- Troubleshooting web applications verifying reported live issues, identifying their underlying cause and seeing them through to resolution, liaising with development and product management teams where appropriate.
- Following the non-functional requirement as mentioned below.
- Utilize performance monitoring tools to track system behavior and identify areas for optimization.
- Perform manual and automated security tests, to ensure the application is fortified against security threats.
- Verify that software applications comply with accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Understand the development best practices followed within the organization.
- Actively supporting agile development methods and best practices.
- Supporting and actively work towards test-driven development.
- Assisting with the setting up and configuration of test environments.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Candidate must have more than 60% marks in 10th and 12th
- A candidate must have a minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.5 in all semesters.
- A maximum gap of 1 year is permissible after HSC (12th) and not after SSC (10th) or in between semesters of graduation.
- Good understanding of OOPS, Data structures & RDBMS.
