We are looking for an Analyst / Senior Analyst - P&L Reporting to join the Financial Operations team of a leading global investment and technology firm.

This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of finance, investment operations, data analytics, and automation, supporting firm-wide reporting across P&L, expenses, capital, returns, and fees.

You'll collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers, Front Office, Risk, Pricing, Finance Operations, and senior stakeholders, playing a key role in ensuring reporting is accurate, timely, insightful, and decision-ready.

Responsibilities

• Own recurring P&L reporting across daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end cycles.
• Prepare and validate reporting covering P&L, expenses, capital, returns, and fees.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Risk, Pricing, and other teams to reconcile and validate financial data.
• Act as a domain expert and human-in-the-loop for automated and GenAI-enabled workflows, validating and troubleshooting outputs.
• Respond to ad-hoc P&L and capital-related requests from Portfolio Managers and senior stakeholders.
• Understand changes across businesses, products, and fund launches and incorporate them into recurring reporting.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, streamline workflows, and improve reporting processes.

We're looking for professionals with:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in P&L / management reporting, fund accounting, FP&A, or a related finance function.
• Strong understanding of finance and financial services, with knowledge of hedge fund operations and revenue models, including fees and expenses.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Comfort working with automation and GenAI tools, with the ability to critically evaluate and validate outputs.
• Strong ownership, initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications & Additional Skills

• CA / MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
• CFA / FRM qualification is an advantage.
• Exposure to SQL, Python, BI, or analytics tools is a plus.
