We are seeking a high-caliber professional to join our Financial Research group based in Hyderabad. The group works closely with front-office teams to provide high-quality analytical and operational support to the firm's global quantitative and proprietary trading strategies.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
In this role, you will be involved in tracking IPOs and secondary offerings, across companies and subsectors in global markets, including benchmarking operational metrics across global business lines. You will play a key role in enabling seamless downstream processes by partnering closely with trading, and technology teams across the firm. Your key responsibilities will include tracking primary markets closely for upcoming capital issues, summarizing and analyzing IPO and follow-on offerings and preparing weekly and monthly performance reports. You will also support business-critical processes driven by the data analysis, often under tight timelines. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the firm's technology development teams to analyze large datasets, produce ad hoc reports to support decision-making, and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Basic qualifications:
- A master's degree in finance or an equivalent discipline, with 1 to 2.5 years of relevant experience in financial research, capital markets, or related analytical roles
- Robust understanding of financial markets, particularly capital markets
- Exceptional analytical skills, a keen interest in financial markets, and the ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Advanced Microsoft Excel, Python or PowerBI
