Responsibilities
- Establishes baseline carbon footprint across each category within global operations: manufacturing, components, raw material and supply chain, purchased goods and services, packaging and transportation.
- Supports the development the annual carbon reduction target, budget, project pipeline across global ops to achieve 2030 targets.
- Support the digitalization of carbon emission measurement, tracking, and reporting across HPE's BUs to display carbon emissions breakdown by BU, by product and service. This is a first-in-industry effort which HPE aims to utilize to support HPE's environmental reporting
- Applies advanced, analytical approaches towards measuring and reducing carbon footprint within each Scope 3 carbon emissions category and collaborates across internal stakeholders, leaders within manufacturing, components, planning and operations to drive actions and achieve results.
- Supports senior SMEs to lead large, cross- functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance across HPE product/service.
- Supports complex strategic projects and initiatives from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
- Consults with business leaders for new growth opportunities, technology innovations and zero-carbon solutions which HPE should invest in to drive results.
- Supports creation of new frameworks for managing HPE's sustainability and environmental program.
