SAP BRIM-CC Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled SAP BRIM-CC Consultant to design, configure, test, and support complex rating and charging models for subscription, recurring, one-time, and usage-based services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Convergent Charging (CC) and will be responsible for implementing charge plans, rate plans, and pricing logic to ensure accurate billing and revenue management.
Responsibilities:
- Configure SAP Convergent Charging charge plans, rate plans, chargeable item classes, mapping tables, pricing tables, and rating rules.
- Design and support various pricing models including recurring, one-time, usage-based, volume-based, tiered, threshold, discount, allowance, and bundle pricing.
- Configure counters, refill logic, usage event rating, rerating, and charge calculation logic.
- Support integration with Subscription Order Management (SOM) for subscription and contract data, with Convergent Invoicing (CI) for billable item creation, and with external mediation or usage collection systems.
- Analyze usage event structures, rating inputs, output billable items, and ensure pricing accuracy.
- Support testing for rating scenarios, edge cases, pricing exceptions, and high-volume event processing.
- Troubleshoot rating errors, failed charging transactions, incorrect charge calculations, and integration defects.
- Prepare functional/technical configuration documents, rating test scripts, scenario matrices, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Coordinate with pricing, product, finance, billing, CI, SOM, and technical integration teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Support cutover, go-live validation, and hypercare for rating and charging processes.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience with SAP Convergent Charging (BRIM-CC) and its configuration.
- Strong understanding of pricing models and billing processes.
- Experience in integrating SAP CC with SOM and CI.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex rating and charging scenarios.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP BRIM suite beyond Convergent Charging.
- Familiarity with external mediation or usage collection systems.
- Knowledge of billing and invoicing processes in a subscription-based environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP BRIM-CC.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
