Analyst, SAP Basis and SOX

How You Will Contribute

• This is a hands-on support role requiring strong SAP knowledge and SOX audit expertise in both on-premise and hyperscaler environments.
• Provide SAP support and gather the evidence required for SOX reporting and compliance.
• Understanding of SAP, t-codes, roles, authorizations, job scheduling, STMS, databases, backup, and general navigation in an SAP system.
• Knowledge of SAP GRC Process Control, SOD and privileged access.
• Preparation of walkthrough documentation and audit control procedures.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of Information Technology General Controls (ITGCs).
• Ensure audits are performed effectively and timely.
• Prior knowledge of AuditBoard.

What you will need to be successful

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor s degree or Masters in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics and Communication Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
• Atleast 3-5 years of hands-on expertise in supporting complex SAP environments.
• SOX ITGC 404 audits for SAP systems and databases including Oracle and SAP HANA
• Excellent understanding of SAP technologies, processes and security.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization including IT Leadership, Compliance, and internal and external audit teams.
• Project management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with SAP ecosystems running on-premise and hosted in a hyperscaler environment, including SAP ERP, Business Warehouse (BW), SAP Central Finance, SAP SLT and SAP GRC.
• Experience with IBM AIX, SUSE Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with SAP on Oracle, DB2 and HANA databases.
• Experience with AuditBoard for task assignment and reporting.
