This dynamic function will play a pivotal role in harnessing third-party data and transforming it to fuel priority use cases, regulatory reporting, driving innovation and growth. With a strong focus on Data Management and Governance, you'll ensure compliance with American Express's data, risk, and privacy policies while collaborating closely with Business, Technology, and 3rd Party teams to launch cutting-edge products in the Indian market. The India Data Office will be accountable to Amex's International Credit Services Data Office.

How will you make an impact in this role
We seek looking for a skilled Analyst- Data Management to support with data ingestion activities - data quality/controls, mapping requirements and data transformation activities for end users.
Supporting migration/ingestion mapping requirements, engage with India CTO for backlog grooming and feasibility analysis, assist in user stories refinement determine essential BnC and data quality controls.
Monitoring performance and data quality controls to identify any gaps, find solutions to elevate data quality/performance at product level, manage user access.
Facilitating the optimization of product backlogs, efficiently translate the business needs into requirements on Rally and articulate it clearly to the scrum teams.
Partnering with data analysts and data scientists to drive identification and enhancement of Individual platform with the target to reduce ORE/CAPs and customer generated incidents related to data risks and linkages for Individual Entities.
Design data pipelines for large data sets from the third-party vendor/s.
Supporting requirements for business-focused ODL/use case delivery and manage stakeholder engagement from different BUs.
Showcasing E2E ownership of analytical needs for the product.
Optimizing data engineering processes and identify areas of improvement and implement process enhancements for capability.
Defining, quantifying, and reporting on metrics related to product launch, process efficiency and performance
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information security, Mathematics, Statistics, or any other relevant qualification in cloud space (Azure, GCP/Lumi)
Data Eng. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years in data engineering, with a focus on data ingestion, processing, and analytics. Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
Strong quantitative skills with an understanding of analyzing large amounts of data and data flows to identify patterns/insights and generate useful recommendations with high value.
Preferred Qualifications
.Prior experience working with third-party vendors preferred.
.Domain knowledge of Payment Card business (Accounts receivables, Loyalty, AML etc.) preferred.
.Regulatory knowledge is an added advantage.
