Responsibilities of the incumbent will include:

  • Regulatory Reporting - Partner/liaise with the SME's to provide the data and prepare the report basis the template for various Daily/Monthly and Quarterly regulatory reports.
  • These reports are time sensitive and strict discipline is required to make sure there are no misses.
  • Partner with Compliance & Business Stakeholders to define high level definition of compliance / business / functional requirements and communicate to Data Owners/SMEs
  • Compile data, format into prescribed template by the Regulator and ensure quality review is completed prior to final submission
  • Execution of Control Management program like Issue Management, Process Risk Self-Assessment, Audit Management etc.
  • Partner with Compliance and Global Counsel Office to understand requirements for the business, responsible for risk assessing the RCM, assigning a business project manager owner, partnering with the business to ensure implementation of requirements and facilitating escalation and engagement of pertinent areas.
  • Work on Ad hoc data request from regulator and support MCO on end to end closure of data requests.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SAS/SQL/Python Hive
  • Experiencein Operational Risk or a related discipline, ideally in more than one of these disciplines. Ability to demonstrate experience of operating at both first and second line will be a strong advantage.
  • In-depth knowledge ofICS, GCS, GMNS business and processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and fluid business environment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work across a wide range of teams and build effective working relationships.
  • Strong communicator, with experience of engaging with senior management.
  • Demonstrated experience of dealing with risk and control programs.
  • Proven ability to develop and enhance local market control and compliance frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with business teams to drive effective issue identification and resolution.
  • Fluent English both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in business process improvement, automation, control design and development of control and process testing.
  • Astrong network established across the India market/and business lines, with a good understanding of the regulatory reporting landscape would be a distinct advantage
