About The Team

This position is part of Enterprise Strategic Sourcing Team, which has the responsibility to manage Indirect spend for Lowe's India. This position will manage the various responsibilities related to procurement of IT (Hardware, Software, Equipment - Telecom, Networks, Printers, and Consulting solutions) products and services from third parties. Lead will coordinate with various stakeholders involved in procure to pay activities - primarily with Business/ Functional team members, Legal, Finance, Vendors, etc.

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to execute complex IT sourcing projects that accomplish the goals of both the organization and the business units they support. These projects should be delivered utilizing a variety of sourcing techniques, including scenario analysis to guide in decision making, and leveraging analytics and market intel to help the business identify opportunities with demand and usage for projects. Other key components of the role include leading continuous improvement activity's, building relationships with the business and support teams, and supporting key initiatives in support customer business goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes RFP, RFQ, RFI, etc.
  • Develops comprehensive bid package for RFx events
  • Utilizes E-Sourcing tools for RFx events
  • Builds and executes sourcing project plans to meet timelines
  • Manages and communicates project updates to business customers and support stakeholders
  • Develops negotiation plans and conducts direct negotiations with suppliers
  • Leverages data and market intel in negotiations and key decisions
  • Executes supplier NDA's
  • Develops and negotiates SOW's
  • Evaluates previous SOW's, KPI's and operational issues to develop improved SOW's from Category Manager input
  • Develop supplier scorecards for RFx results to drive decision making
  • Manage finance and legal partnership at project level
  • Support baseline development for RFx events
  • Presents materials to stakeholders, evaluating pros/cons of suppliers across multiple award scenarios to influence and drive decision making
  • Leads vendor workshops
  • Support catalog implementation, set up as required
  • Support document migration / integration as required

Years Of Experience

3+ Years Sourcing Experience

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Min 3 years of business experience or bachelor's degree with internship experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree
