ABHI Incubation Fund is an early-stage investment and research platform that integratesmacroeconomic analysis, public policy insights, and sectoral researchto identify long-term investment opportunities across startups and public markets in India.

We are looking for anAnalyst Internwho can not only conduct rigorousmacro and policy research, but alsoconvert deep research into clear, compelling contentfor investors, founders, and a broader informed audience.

The Analyst Intern will work closely with the Fund Manager to analyzeIndia's macroeconomic environment, public policy landscape, and demographic shifts, and translate these insights into:

• Sectoral and industry outlooks
• Forecasts and thematic investment views
• Presentations, research notes, and public-facing content

This role sits at the intersection ofeconomics, investing, and communication.

• Analyze India's macroeconomic indicators: GDP growth, inflation, fiscal deficit, debt, interest rates, and balance of payments.
• TrackUnion and State budgets, fiscal policy, and public expenditure priorities.
• MonitorRBI policy actionsand financial system developments.
• Evaluate regulatory and policy changes (SEBI, RBI, DPIIT, NITI Aayog, MeitY, India Stack, etc.).

• Apply macro and policy research to identifytrends across Indian sectors and industries.
• Study the impact ofrising per capita income, urbanization, and demographic transitionson consumption and industry structure.
• Identifyemerging industries, sunrise sectors, and long-term growth themes.
• Build forward-lookingsector outlooks and thematic frameworks.

• Developscenario-based forecastsfor sectoral growth and industry evolution.
• Analyze demographic and income distribution data to assess medium- and long-term implications.
• Support macro and sectoral models with data-driven insights.

• Convert comprehensive research into:
• Investor and internal presentations
• Concise research notes and briefs
• Edit and structure complex economic analysis intoclear, accessible narrativeswithout losing analytical depth.
• Assist in building a consistent research and content pipeline aligned with the Fund's investment philosophy.

• Translate macro and sectoral insights intoinvestment-relevant conclusionsfor startups and public markets.
• Support preparation of investment theses, strategy decks, and policy-led opportunity notes.

Education

• Graduate or Master's student inEconomics, Finance, Public Policy, Development Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong grounding inmacroeconomics, public finance, and economic theory.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency inExcel.
• Working knowledge ofPython / R / STATA / EViews.
• Familiarity with Indian and global economic datasets (RBI, MOSPI, CMIE, SEBI, World Bank, IMF, etc.).

Research, Writing & Communication

• Excellentwriting and editing skillswith the ability to simplify complex ideas.
• Experience (or strong interest) incontent creationblogs, research notes, newsletters, or social media posts.
• Ability to adapt tone and depth forinvestors, founders, and public audiences.

• Exposure toIndia-focused macro, policy, and sectoral researchat an investment fund.
• Hands-on experience inturning research into investable insights and high-quality content.
• Direct mentorship from theFund Manager.
• Strong preparation for careers ininvestment research, economic advisory, policy research, think tanks, or financial content platforms.
