Information Security Analyst to join our
Center of Excellence (CoE) – Information Security in Gurugram.
The Information Security Team is responsible for security risk assessment, governing security policies and controls, security monitoring, threat hunting and investigation. If you find it exhilarating to dig into logs to find out problem root causes, review alerts to detect security incidents, and you keep up with the newest technologies and cyber trends, then this might be the right opportunity for you! The successful candidate will collaborate with teams across Canada and India, reporting directly to the Information Security Manager based in Gurugram.
What You Will Do
- Identify, analyze, and assist in remediation of security vulnerabilities and weaknesses
- Identify opportunities for security automation and continuous improvement using AI
- Monitor cloud platforms security and fine tune security dashboards and alerts
- Perform threat hunting and incident investigation using logs
- Respond to security incidents and analyze alerts, logs, and threat cases
- Monitor cyber security trends, external and internal threat intelligence
- Develop and document standard processes for security operations
- Prepare reports on security posture, risks, and KPIs for senior management
What You Bring
- 3+ years related work experience or significant information security/IT/networking skills that balance security experience is preferred
- Degree or network/system administration background is preferred
- Experience with technologies such as Netskope Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Tenable Patch/Vulnerability Management, Cloud security, SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel), Email Security monitoring, and XDR (Defender for Endpoints) are assets
- Basic understanding of network infrastructure and security technologies, such as TCP/IP, Encryption, Firewalls, Active Directory, Anti-virus, and Vulnerability scanners
- Familiar with security standards and frameworks, such as ISO, NIST, SANS, and CIS
- Comfortable working with and learning new technologies. Experience using PowerShell, Power Automate, PowerBI and Office 365 tooling (e.g. Excel) is a bonus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Passion for technology and keep up with the latest information security trends
- Related entry/intermediate level information security certifications are a bonus but not mandatory
