About the Role:

Operational IAM Responsibilities

  • Support user identity lifecycle management (joiners, movers, leavers) across corporate directories and cloud platforms.
  • Assist in onboarding and access provisioning through tools like Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, or other IAM platforms.
  • Monitor and resolve identity-related incidents, access issues, and policy violations.
  • Support access review campaigns, privileged account certifications, and role-based access control (RBAC) initiatives.

Engineering and Integration

  • Collaborate with IAM engineers to integrate new applications with SSO and MFA.
  • Work on automation scripts for provisioning, access requests, or compliance reporting.
  • Contribute to API-based integrations and workflows for human and non-human identity governance.

Governance and Compliance

  • Assist in periodic access recertifications and audit evidence collection for SOX and ISO controls.
  • Maintain IAM process documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
  • Support zero-trust and least-privilege initiatives across business applications.

Security Analytics and Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to analysis of identity-related security events and anomalies.
  • Participate in IAM metrics, dashboards, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (InfoSec, HR, IT, Cloud) to enhance identity hygiene and compliance posture.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6-12 months of internship experience in IAM, Security Operations, or Cloud Security.
  • Basic understanding of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, LDAP) and directory services (Active Directory, Azure AD).
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Passion for identity security, automation, and continuous learning.

Preferred:

  • Hands-on exposure to Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure AD, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, or REST APIs.
  • Understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOX, NIST 800-63, or ISO 27001.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
