Role overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and data-centric Analyst - Growth to join our lean and agile Growth team.

This is a critical role for an ambitious individual with 0-2 years of experience who is passionate about identifying and scaling new opportunities.

You will be instrumental in driving user acquisition by optimizing existing channels, aggressively exploring new growth vectors, and driving rapid experimentation.

Role focus is to drive relevant user acquisition for Wiingy in the US Market for Math, Language and Music categories for web and App.

Role Details & Schedule

  • Role Type: Full Time
  • Location: This is a full-time, work-from-office position based at our HSR Bengaluru office
  • Schedule: The role requires a 6-day work week.
  • Ideal Experience: 0-2 years

Key Responsibilities

1. Growth Channel Identification & Exploration (New Initiatives)

  • Identify New Opportunities: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and strategic testing to identify and validate novel user acquisition channels outside of existing frameworks (e.g., untapped social platforms, community building, unconventional partnerships, viral loops).
  • Pilot Programs: Design and execute pilot programs for new channels, setting clear, measurable success metrics (OKRs).
  • Scale or Sunset: Provide data-backed recommendations on which new channels to scale into formalized acquisition funnels and which to quickly abandon.

2. Funnel Optimization & Efficiency (Existing Channels)

  • Audit and Optimize: Deeply analyze conversion funnels for core existing channels (e.g., PPC, SEO/Organic, Social Media, Affiliates/Partnerships) to identify major drop-off points and friction areas.
  • CRO Strategy: Develop and manage a continuous Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) roadmap for landing pages, key site flows, and lead-to-MQL conversion steps.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to implement changes that improve channel efficiency and LTV/CAC ratios.

3. Growth Experimentation & Iteration

  • Experiment Design: Build, prioritize, and manage a robust A/B testing and experimentation backlog across channels, creative assets, messaging, and funnel stages.
  • Execution: Utilize testing tools (e.g., Google Optimize, VWO, or custom solutions) to execute experiments efficiently and without bias.
  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of experiment hypotheses, results, and learned insights, ensuring institutional knowledge capture.

4. Data, Analytics, and Reporting

  • Setup and Maintenance: Take ownership of tracking infrastructure, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection across all growth initiatives (using tools like Google Analytics 4, Ads Analytics and internal dashboards).
  • Reporting: Establish core growth dashboards and provide weekly/monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) like CAC, LTV, conversion rates, and channel contribution.
  • Insight Generation: Proactively analyze data to surface non-obvious growth opportunities or hidden constraints in current performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 0-2 years of hands-on experience driving growth initiatives, ideally within a fast-paced startup or technology environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a highly analytical field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong foundational knowledge of setting up, reading, and troubleshooting web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Tag Manager). Must be comfortable with spreadsheet analysis (Excel/Google Sheets) and basic statistical concepts related to A/B testing.
  • Mindset: Highly curious, relentless desire to test and learn, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with SQL, basic HTML/CSS, or specific channel management tools (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager).
