We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of
Analyst - Global Banking
In This Role, You Will
- Collaborate extensively in an integrated team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders across locations and functions.
- Understand complex data and resolve issues to extend strategic support to the frontline staff and senior management.
- Generate actionable insights for business and empower frontline to drive better decisions
- Take measures to provide timely and accurate status reporting to key stakeholders, and executive updates to programme sponsors.
- Operate on root cause analysis and solve problems systematically, logically, and independently, escalating where appropriate.
- Understand and responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business.
- Pro-actively suggest and design improvements in process workflow, where applicable. and p ro-actively seek different assignments to accelerate learning.
- Coordinate with various teams involved in the bespoke projects related to ESG/ Sustainability. Support the Business teams in the projects.
To Be Successful You Will
- Graduation / Post Graduation degree from reputed institute in a quantitative discipline (with a good CGPA score)
- Strong analytical thought process and aptitude for problem solving
- Good understanding of creating strategic insights using available data internally and from external sources to help identify business development opportunities
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for business analysis and presentations
- Strong understanding of the broader HSBC ESG and sustainability agenda
- The role is part of CIB Service Centre and based at Bangalore
- Team-oriented mindset combined with the ability to complete tasks independently to a high-quality standard
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
