Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of companies, primarily within the energy and industrials sectors
  • Monitor market developments, news flows, and sell-side research
  • Analyze company earnings and financial performance
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support research coverage
  • Prepare clear, concise investment reports, highlighting risks, catalysts, and valuation insights
  • Perform peer benchmarking and comparative analysis of financial and operational metrics
  • Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis to evaluate investment outcomes
  • Collaborate with investment teams to refine models and investment theses
  • Participate in calls with company management, analysts, and industry experts
  • Maintain industry trackers and databases to support ongoing research

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA / CFA / CA preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in investment research or equity analysis
  • Strong financial modeling and valuation skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience covering energy or industrial sectors (any geography)
