Analyst - Fund Management

Role Description:

The Analyst at Welspun One will support the fund team by conducting financial analyses, building complex financial models, and providing insights to inform fund strategies.

Essential Accountabilities:

Financial Analysis & Modelling: - Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate investments as well as fund performance (ROI, IRR, DCF analyses). - Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic indicators. - Prepare investment reviews for presentation to senior management.

Market Research & Intelligence: - Track regulatory changes affecting real estate, warehousing and AIF industry. - Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and economic developments. - Conduct peer group analyses and assess fund positioning.

Risk Management & Compliance: - Assess and monitor financial and operational risks. - Ensure compliance with SEBI guidelines, tax laws, and accounting standards. - Work with compliance teams on governance and regulatory adherence.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication :- Prepare and present financial and operational updates. - Develop annual business plans and contribute to strategy discussions. - Assist in preparing investor presentations and marketing materials.

Educational Requirement and Work Experience

- Education Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.

- Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in investment analysis, fund management, or asset management.

- Work Experience Requirements:

- Strong financial modelling and presentation skills
