Analyst (Equity Research)

The ideal candidate with strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and communication skills, capable of delivering high-quality investment insights and company analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts

• Benchmark companies by financial and operating statistics

• Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities

• Collect information from industry or sector databases

• Calculate or compare valuation comparable

• Handle ad hoc research requests

• Collect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters

• Coordinate and maintain industry databases wherever relevant

• Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA

• Prepare company profiles; earning and flash notes; quarterly updates; coverage, sector, and theme based reports; newsletters; technology primers, etc.

• Summarize investment conference calls and conduct management interviews Required

Qualification

• CA Rank holder is mandatory

• Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines

• Basic knowledge of microeconomics / macroeconomics is must

• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills

• Ability to think outside the box

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel

• Knowledge of VBA will be advantageous)
