Intercontinental Exchange is seeking a motivated, results oriented candidate to be part of a global team responsible for supporting and advancing our global corporate IT server environment. The architecture group manages services used by all employees in the organization. The ideal candidate has experience working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment and is highly technical with great troubleshooting skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of server infrastructure
- Respond to and assist in production operations in a 24/7 environment
- Participate in an On-Call rotation for after hours and weekend support
- Educate and mentor members of other groups that we work closely with like EUC
- Stay up to date with the technologies we support and how we can leverage new features to solve business needs
Knowledge And Experience
- IT professional with 1+ years of hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server environments (2016, 2019, 2022). Skilled in Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, and Certificate Authority. Proficient in performing daily administrative tasks including user account creation, distribution list management, and permission handling, aligned with ICE process standards
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in patch management and related tools such as Altiris, Tanium, and WSUS Server. Proficient in deploying security updates, managing software distribution, automating patch workflows, vulnerability remediation, compliance reporting, and utilizing Altiris/ Tanium, PowerShell scripting, and Active Directory for enterprise-level patching operations
- 1+ years of experience using Splunk for server event monitoring and management, including log analysis, alert configuration, and dashboard creation to support proactive incident response and system health tracking
- Worked on Authentication tools (RSA, Windows Authenticator)
- Experience with VMware vCenter to manage windows virtual machines.
- Commissioning and decommissioning of servers (Using automation and manual)
- Ensure Server agent upgrade up to latest release
- Server hardening with respect to compliance issues
- Perform day-to-day activities such as user account creation, distribution list (DL) creation, and managing user permissions, in accordance with ICE-related processes and protocols
- Scripting skills with PowerShell is a Plus
- Overview on monitoring tools like Spectrum, Big Panda, SolarWinds etc.
- Overview on CMDB or related tools
- Overview on ServiceNow and other
- Experience with ServiceNow for ITSM processes including incident, Task, and change, and problem management Skilled in creating and managing change requests
- Proficient in using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other AI tools to enhance productivity, analysis, and decision-making
- Experienced in leveraging AI-assisted tools for documentation, reporting, research, and automation of routine tasks
- Skilled in integrating generative AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Applied AI tools to accelerate problem resolution, perform technical analysis, and generate optimized solutions
- Hands-on experience using AI-driven assistants to support Automation Scripting and IT operations
