Role Summary
The Analyst – Data Quality (Tableau) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Tableau dashboards and visualizations that support business decision-making. The role involves close collaboration with data processing teams to ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of data while following best practices in data visualization and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards and visualizations to meet business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and create clear, concise, and actionable data visualizations.
- Optimize Tableau dashboard performance and implement best practices for data visualization and usability.
- Collaborate with data quality and data processing teams to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timely availability.
- Perform data validation and support data quality initiatives to ensure reliable reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features, enhancements, and industry trends, and apply them where appropriate.
- Assist in documentation and version management of Tableau dashboards and related assets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong proficiency in creating complex Tableau dashboards, including calculated fields, parameters, and Level-of-Detail (LOD) expressions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable data visualizations.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Eagerness to learn new tools, Tableau features, and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of hands-on experience in data visualization – Tableau and data analysis tools
- Market Research knowledge is must
- Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Server/Online.
- Knowledge of scripting or automation for data pipelines or Tableau-related tasks
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or projects in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics will be an added advantage.
