Position Summary

We are searching for an Analyst II - Logistics Warehouse who possesses the warehouse planning and stock planning skills to operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. THE ROLE

This role is responsible for continuous improvement, Knowledge of product range, Knowledge of Excise /Customs Rules, Strategic Thinking, Excellent Analytical Skills, Developmental orientation, Proficiency in Computers (MS Office), Commercial Negotiations and actions plans to analyzing and negotiate offers to assure best cost together with Local functional leaders (i.e. Innovation, Operations, Finance, HR, IT and Supply Chain) to achieve overall organization's objectives. In addition, this role would have to liaise with Multi-discipline team including support functions, to delight our Internal and External stakeholders.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned beyond the core functions listed below.

The responsibilities of the role are to implement the required action plan, manage logistics activities to support efforts to achieve the logistics outcomes. The role shall carry out tactical activities for project timing plan & milestones and drive suppliers for compliance.

The assigned territories include Fluid Power businesses in India. The specific responsibilities will fall into three primary areas:

Maximum 3 pointers per accountability

Accountability #1: Customer (Internal / External Stakeholders)

  • Develop and maintain strong & long-term relationships with local suppliers and contractors.
  • Smooth functioning of both warehouses domestic and trading.
  • Troubleshooting issues with the Supplier and communicating to management for timely actions. It be responsible to identify the training needs of his team;

Accountability #2: Process / Performance

  • To carry out all licensing formalities with regard to Advance license & EPCG license.
  • Plan and execute export despatches as per the indents received and ensure compliance with post shipment documentation formalities.
  • Timely clearance of all Import consignments.

Accountability #3: People

  • Following project timing plan & milestones and drive suppliers for compliance
  • Follow up with the vendor for the dispatch plan.
  • Coordination with the other stakeholders for the productivity plan.

Requirements And Preferred Skills

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Typically requires a college or university degree or the equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will reports Sr. Manager D&L in individual contributor capacity.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS/ QUALIFICATIONS & PREFERRED SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

This person must have at least 5-7 years hands on experience in SCM, Purchasing and Supplier Management in the assigned countries or region.

  • Minimum 5-7 years, proven track record in Logistics/SCM.
  • Diploma/Graduation in Engineering or in Material Management.

  • Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to domestic travel at supplier end.
