About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical
Cost Analyst to join the
Cost Management Team within the Finance function at
IDFC FIRST Bank . This role is pivotal in driving cost optimization initiatives across the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for collecting and analyzing cost-related data, identifying trends, and partnering with various teams to implement efficiency measures. The ultimate goal is to support the bank's efforts in improving process efficiencies and reducing the cost-to-income ratio.
Key Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze trends in cost data across various categories such as nature of expense, business unit, and vendor level.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of expense categories to identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with business and support teams to review end-to-end processes and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Track and report monthly expenses and cost drivers to support strategic decision-making.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive data collection and validation.
- Support the implementation of cost-saving initiatives by providing actionable insights.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management on cost performance and optimization strategies.
What We Are Looking For
Education
- Graduation: B.Com
- Post-graduation: MBA preferred
- Professional Qualification/Certification: CA or CFA
Experience
- 4 years of relevant experience in cost analysis, financial planning, or related roles.
