Job Description

The Analyst, Treasury position is responsible for administering all aspects of the Corporate Credit Card Program. This includes processing requests for purchasing and travel & expense (T&E) cards, managing spending limits, and reconciling card expense exceptions and issues. The role serves as a subject matter expert on corporate card usage across Oceaneering and partners with card-issuing banks to identify and implement innovative card programs and solutions.

In addition, this position supports global treasury operations and contributes to ongoing process improvements and technology enhancements

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization's corporate purchasing and travel & entertainment (T&E) card programs, including issuance, modifications, cancellations, records retention, compliance reviews, and customer service (credit limit changes, policy interpretation, exception processing, etc.).
  • Provide excellent customer service to cardholders regarding their requests and accounting needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of employee corporate and purchasing card transactions, analyze spending trends, and consult with employees to generate detailed spending pattern reports.
  • Develop and implement card campaigns to identify internal purchasers who can adopt P-Cards or T&E cards for procurement or travel needs.
  • Work to minimize company risk and exposure to fraud.
  • Act as a liaison between the bank and Oceaneering to resolve issues.
  • Coordinate development, enhancements, and system configuration activities with PeopleSoft ERP and IT.
  • Provide cardholder training and assist in developing training materials and conducting employee training sessions.
  • Support cardholders by addressing questions and concerns related to corporate and purchasing card transactions and policies.
  • Identify, propose, and implement process and system improvements.
  • Provide analytical and technical reporting as requested by business units and management.
  • Provide technical expertise and serve as the SME on system interfaces, working with IT to resolve system issues in the card management program.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to strategically improve the corporate card program.

Utilize online banking platforms; demonstrate strong technical skills in Microsoft Office products (Power BI a plus).

  • Apply financial accounting knowledge as needed.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to work independently or within a team while balancing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Maintain a customer-focused approach and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organization.
  • Maintain a high level of daily energy and attention to detail due to the transactional nature of duties; exercise sound judgment and maintain strong internal controls.
  • Control and monitor bank accounts and balances for all shared service entities to maximize investment income return.
  • Provide support to internal and external auditors during audit periods.
  • Serve a a key resource to global affiliates for daily banking matters and provide first-level support for treasury-related questions and issues.
  • Ensure treasury card activity is accurately and efficiently posted across all financial systems.
  • Perform ad-hoc requests, assist management with projects, and support company Treasury initiatives as needed.
  • Treasury reporting responsibilities, including investments, interest schedules, cash positions, and FBAR reports.
  • Manage and administer bank guarantees, including tracking renewals, coordinating with banks and business units, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining an updated guarantee register.
  • Assist with bank account maintenance, including account openings, closures, signatory updates, documentation management, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and bank requirements.

Required

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business or finance or related discipline highly preferred.
  • Applicants must have advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office tools, especially MS Excel. They should be able to work with spreadsheets, applying formulas, V-lookup, and pivot tables; sort data, use charts and graphs, and perform basic data analysis. Candidate should have intermediate level expertise in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • 3+ years of experience with responsibilities in Treasury and the card programs required.

DESIRED

  • PeopleSoft and Oracle Fusion work knowledge.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and time management skills with a track record of following through on commitment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills other qualifications: Highly analytical with strong attention to detail; critical thinking with problem-solving skills; ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities to meet deadlines; ability to challenge and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Must be very customer focused and work with cross-functional teams amongst the organization.
  • Other Competencies: this position requires a high level of energy on a daily basis because of the transactional nature of the duties. Success hinges on a strong eye for detail and the ability to consistently question and make judgment calls regarding the activities that the department engages in.
