Location: Gurugram, India

Shift: 1:00 PM 10:00 PM IST (aligned with US & European time zones; partial overlap required)

Practice: CFO Services / Finance Operations

About the Team / Practice

Celerity Consulting's CFO Services practice supports US and Europe-based clients in managing finance operations, accounting processes, and financial reporting. The team works closely with global organizations to deliver high-quality financial insights, accounting support, and operational finance solutions.

We specialize in industries such as aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) and logistics, helping clients streamline accounting processes, ensure compliance with international accounting standards, and enhance financial visibility.

About the Role

We are looking for motivated finance professionals to join our CFO Services practice, supporting global aviation and logistics clients.

This role involves contributing to core accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations, and finance operations. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial information.

The position offers strong exposure to:

  • US GAAP and international accounting standards
  • Global finance operations
  • Aviation industry financial workflows

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Finance Operations

  • Support day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and documentation
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare and support monthly financial reports and MIS packs
  • Conduct variance analysis and financial data review
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation
  • Assist in building financial dashboards and reporting summaries

3. Systems & Process Management

  • Work on accounting and aviation ERP systems such as AvSight, Quantum, and Accounting Seed
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancement

4. Client Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders
  • Address client queries related to accounting and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal standards

Role-Level Expectations

Analyst CFO Services (13 years)

  • Support transactional accounting activities
  • Prepare journal entries and reconciliations
  • Assist in month-end close
  • Maintain accounting records
  • Support financial reporting

Senior Analyst CFO Services (36 years)

  • Manage AP, AR, and GL processes
  • Perform detailed reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Support financial reporting and MIS preparation
  • Coordinate with client teams
  • Assist in audits and compliance

Associate CFO Services (68 years)

  • Manage end-to-end accounting operations for clients
  • Oversee month-end close and reporting deliverables
  • Review work of junior team members
  • Drive financial analysis and reporting
  • Contribute to process improvements

Required Competencies

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related fields
  • Certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, CPA, or ACCA (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of GL accounting, AP/AR, and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with US GAAP or international accounting standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal)
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deliverables
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems
