Job Summary:
The
Analyst Business Support- Quality Assurance is responsible for completing claim quality reviews, quality measurement, and quality reporting and for supporting quality execution and continuous improvement across Walmart Claims Services (WCS). The Analyst partners with claims leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen alignment, transparency, reserve adequacy, and overall claim handling quality.
About the team:
The Claims Center of Excellence (CoE) Quality team drives quality assurance, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives across Walmart Claims Services. The team partners with Claims, Underwriting, Actuarial, Internal Audit, and Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) to ensure high standards of claim handling, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Perform quality claim reviews, analyze trends and reserve adequacy, and identify key quality drivers and risks.
- Partner with claims leadership and stakeholders to communicate insights and support data-driven decisions.
- Support structured workflows for aggregate account reviews and ensure timely, accurate completion.
- Collaborate on actionable improvement plans to enhance claim handling practices and operational outcomes.
- Provide guidance on quality tools, dashboards, and reporting to strengthen quality governance and compliance.
What You'll bring
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 45 years of experience in claims processing or insurance operations with strong knowledge of claims handling practices.
- Experience working with carriers and/or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and web-based systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
