Job Description
- Participate in all aspects of investment transactions including: sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, deal structuring, negotiation and documentation
- Monitor financial / operational / market conditions of assigned portfolio companies, conduct monthly internal reviews, monitor and help manage credit risk
- Work on sector thesis building and coverage along with other team members, building depth in sector / industry knowledge over time
- Over time, build a relationship network across the startup and venture capital ecosystem
- Assist in internal operations and strategic initiatives of the fund
The Successful Applicant
- Demonstrable personal interest in entrepreneurship and startups
- Excellent interpersonal, communications, public speaking and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and understanding of accounts and financials, strong attention to detail
- Self-starter capable of working in a fast-paced setting, able to understand fund's priorities and strategy, and work pro-actively to solve for the same
- Able to work independently towards objectives
- 1-3 years of professional experience
- Examples of relevant experience include roles at transaction advisory / FDD practices at the Consulting Firms, private credit funds / firms, venture equity / debt funds etc
