Job Description

Join our Global Operations payroll team as a subject matter expert for APAC payroll execution. You will own day-to-day payroll operations, drive process improvements and innovation, and partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll

Job Summary

As an Analyst within the payroll team, you will be responsible for managing endtoend payroll cycles-validating time and earnings data, calculating grosstonet, and executing ontime, accurate payments.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver accurate and on-time end-to-end payroll processing for the APAC region, partnering closely with regional payroll teams, HR, Finance, and vendors
  • Own and maintain standard operating procedures, knowledge repositories, and process documentation
  • Prepare and manage operational metrics and dashboards for internal teams and external vendors, highlighting performance, risks, and opportunities
  • Identify, prioritize, and implement automation and process improvements collaborate with technology and vendor partners to design scalable solutions
  • Lead and support change initiatives collaborate effectively in a team environment while influencing stakeholders to adopt best practices

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+years of operations experience across Payroll/Benefits/Taxation, including hands-on exposure to automation/robotics and business process analysis with a proven record of delivering process improvements and automation projects
  • Experience with multinational payroll operations and accounting extensive knowledge of SAP Payroll or other payroll ERPs (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM) familiarity with project management practices
  • Proven ability to map and analyze current-state and design future-state processes experience with process improvement methodologies and people/process management
  • Ability to validate and govern automated workflows, rule engines, data quality controls, and exception handling mechanisms
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across HR, Finance, Technology, and external vendors
  • High attention to detail analytical mindset with the ability to probe business rules and reconcile variances
  • Creative problem-solver who proposes innovative, logical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coach, train, and support team members

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Strong organizational and/or project management capabilities (certifications a plus).
  • Technical proficiency with SAP and HCM systems experience integrating payroll with HRIS, time & attendance, and general ledger systems
  • Familiarity with control frameworks (e.g., SOX/ICFR), audit readiness, and documentation standards
