Job Description

Your responsibilities

  • In the Office or WFH : Review site project work package: SoW, Site Instructions, Installation manuals, Risks Analysis & Safety plans ensuring all works are in line with the company standards and Client specification.
  • Study project documentation, prepare detail report about changes made on site and cooperate to the engineering offices
  • Define, in conjunction with Project Manager and Commissioning Manager the commissioning strategy and the associated schedule ensuring they adhere to contract.
  • At site: Inspect and evaluate status of delivered items and proactively identify potential issues, and promptly report them to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the project team to develop effective solutions and ensure timely resolution of problems.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and company policies pertaining to process analysers and sample conditioning systems
  • Perform commissioning, operating, and maintaining process analysers and sample conditioning systems, such as gas chromatographs, pH meters, conductivity analysers, tunable diode lasers etc.
  • Technical assurance during commissioning/start-up and run phases, and preventive maintenance program development is essential. Must demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to identify root causes of complex analyser issues and develop effective, technically sound solutions.The specialist should also have capabilities in leading Management of Change processes, mentoring technicians, and participating in incident investigations and testing phases. Practical knowledge of analyser data acquisition systems (e.g., AMADAS) and compliance with regulatory and company standards is critical.
  • Key methodologies: preventative/corrective maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and testing against standards; use AMADAS data acquisition systems for historization and SQC (Statistica; Quality Control) charts; interpret P&IDs, tubing/electrical drawings; apply Management of Change (MOC).
  • Hands-on expertise with GCs (gas chromatographs), pH, conductivity, Tunable Diode Laser, TOC, turbidity, oxygen, and moisture analysers, environmental analysers plus complex gas sampling systems (tubing, valves, fittings).
  • Responsible for ensuring the reliable performance of a variety of electronic analysers, making key contributions to the productivity and efficiency of operations. They will work collaboratively with engineering and operations teams to maintain high standards of safety and accuracy in analytical measurements.
  • Ensure compliance with Factory / Site ITP and perform FAT & SAT.
  • Mapping Key industry trends and challenges like equipment obsolescence, rising maintenance costs, stringent environmental /regulatory compliance, and the need for higher reliability in complex systems like GCs and sample conditioning to minimize downtime.
  • Prepare regular technical reports, maintain accurate documentation, and update relevant records. Provide guidance and support to NCA team on-site, fostering a positive work environment and promoting skills development.

Your profile

As member of TK-NCA Erection & Commissioning Hub, the Analyser Specialist, will assist the Site Management Team to execute, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of analytical instrumentation crucial for the operation of various industrial processes on Green Hydrogen and Chlor-Alkali plants, from the Pre-commissioning phase till final plant Commissioning & Start-Up. You will have to deal with the following activities:

  • Open the work permit (if applicable) and promote risk assessment within NCA team.
  • Be the focal point for process analysers and sample conditioning systems of NCA on site towards client (Liaising between Engineering, Site Management and Sub-Contractors).
  • Be involved and participate in client, vendor, and/or subcontractor meetings to resolve issues.
  • Instruct the NCA / Subcontractor's team members.
  • Resolve technical issues or disputes, if in the interest of overall project management or the decision violates contractual, safety or quality requirements.
  • In coordination with Site & Project Management, negotiate and agree with the client on any change related to Installation topics.
