Location: Bengaluru, India

Experience: 5+ Years (Relevant Experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design)

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Analog Lead Design Engineer to drive the design and development of Analog Front-End (AFE) circuits for advanced sensor-based systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data converters (ADCs/DACs) and precision analog signal chains, leading projects from concept to silicon validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and validation of high-performance ADCs and DACs for sensor data acquisition and signal processing systems.
  • Architect and develop low-noise analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, and signal conditioning blocks.
  • Manage complete ASIC design flow, from architecture definition and schematic design to tape-out and silicon bring-up.
  • Mentor and guide junior analog designers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work collaboratively with digital, firmware, and test engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration and optimal performance.
  • Perform post-silicon validation and characterization, driving design improvements and yield optimization.

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ADC/DAC design with at least one successful tape-out.
  • Strong background in low-noise amplifiers, voltage/current references, and precision analog design.
  • Proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and Calibre design and verification tools.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to take ownership of complex design blocks and deliver results with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with low-power design for battery-operated and portable systems.
  • Familiarity with sensor interfaces such as MEMS, capacitive, or piezoelectric sensors.
  • Understanding of EMI/EMC compliance, signal integrity, and functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508).
